Light and Truth Within – César Estrada Chávez

Csar Chavez( 1927 –1993), American farm worker, labor leader and civil rights activist, who, with Dolores Huerta, co-founded the National Farm Workers Association (later the United Farm Workers union, UFW).

They are the laborers who bring all the fruits and vegetables from the field, from the bushes, and trees to your markets. Their conditions are undocumented but are being given the light of day. All that is done in secrecy will be revealed. All that has been thrust on them to bear is being brought to the light of scrutiny. Those of you who have the feeling that you are powerless - think again. One voice, joined with one other voice soon becomes a chorus heard around the world. Allow your voice to be heard. Join with other voices who protest the ill treatment of those who are governed by fear.

Sustainable growth is what you are after. Each person has the right to an existence that provides him with a living at the end of the day that sustains his life, not depletes it. Each person has the right to thrive at the end of the day, not fall into troubles exhaustion wondering if he will even have he strength to survive the next day. Sustainable growth nourishes and feeds the soul. It does not crush to Spirit from whence it came.
